Manolo Fetalvero

Hi!  My name is Manolo Laviña Fetalvero.

I help working professionals, like you, build a scalable side business. A business small enough, you only need to work on it an hour or two a day, sometimes, even less. But if you put more effort into it, it can grow to replace your monthly income, multiple times.

I don't teach "get rich quick" schemes. Everything I teach and publish requires a lot of thinking and hard work. Shortcuts just can't sustain a real business.

I teach how to build businesses from scratch, on the side, while you're gainfully employed. Businesses that can, eventually, run itself without you constantly working on it. Businesses that can sustain your lifestyle through your retirement.

That's the reason why I built this part of my side business, coaching, to guide you as you embark on your entrepreneurial journey.

And, YES, this is still a side business for me...

How I started

He who walks with the wise grows wise...

Proverbs 13:20

I spent long hours understudying from the best in the field, strove hard to be their best student. And it's through my dedication to better myself that I have built this business and enjoying its fruits.

In October 2014, I bought a course with live coaching on how to build an ecommerce business selling at Amazon. That's when I started my company, Marcelinos Pte. Ltd. My vision was to launch multiple brands under its roof. And the first one I created was Ludy's Kitchen.

I spent 2-3 hours every night going through the course and executing the corresponding action items. After three months, in February 2015, I finally launched my product.

One of the great advantage of doing this while you are gainfully employed is the opportunities it provide for you to test the many intricacies of running a business.

Off to a good start...

In 2015, my main thrust is to get my brand noticed by the buying public. I tested many marketing tactics and strategies. I've also tested the various advertisement platforms, i.e. Facebook, Google, Pinterest & Twitter.

These brand awareness campaigns proved effective as I ended the year with a total revenue of USD $30,430. Not bad for a 2-3 hours a day 1-product business!

Doubled revenue in 2nd year

Then in 2016, I learned a few more business skills. While doing my brand awareness campaigns, I also positioned my Ludy's Kitchen as a premium brand and increased my price.

I also implemented additional search keyword boosting tactics within Amazon.

These gave me a revenue boost of more than 2x of my 2015 at USD $69,659.

Double-digit improvement in Net Profit on the 3rd year

Then, the following year, 2017, I started to tighten on my marketing budget, trying to improve on my net profit.

With seeds planted (in branding, premium pricing and search keyword ranking) and nurtured minimally, I was able to surpass my 2016 revenue at USD $76,100 and an increase of 17% in net profit!

Since I started...

Just to show you what a 2-3 hrs/day of work (after office) can do over time, below are some figures from my US Amazon store (as of end of 2017).

These are from selling my first product under Ludy's Kitchen - Silicone Baking Mats.

Launching and managing my Amazon store is not the only thing I can do with 2-3 hrs/day...

In July 2015, as part of the overall brand-awareness strategy, I decided to invest in my own US-based e-commerce store. I've chosen to launch it using the Shopify platform because of the many features that allow me to implement my brand strategy.

Then, in October 2015, I also launched an online bakery here in Singapore.

These Shopify stores are all part of my Ludy's Kitchen brand strategy.

And all of these were done and executed while I was working full time as a Managing Consultant at a multi-national company.

I'm not saying this to boast about how good I am. What I'm trying to get accross is that, if you have a system and processes to follow and a mentor to guide you, you can build a profitable business with the limited time that you have.
